Miami Thai Restaurants

Tani Thai, located off of US 1, has been a local's spot in Pinecrest for years. They have the best Spicy Shrimp Soup and a delicious Shrimp Pad Thai compared to other Miami restaurants. The staff is friendly and provide excellent service.

Tani Thai's Menu: Other mouth-watering dishes include the Volcano Chicken, which is a large portion that can be shared, and the Tani Steak, which is tender strips of beef marinated with herbs and spices.

Moon Thai, located in South Miami, is a Miami Thai restaurant. Located close to the University of Miami, you will find many students proudly wearing their UM attire and if that was not enough to convince you maybe the orange and green walls and the waiters and chef's wearing University of Miami bandanas would. With that said Moon Thai not only has a wide variety of Thai dishes they also have a complete Japanese menu. Regardless of which menu you order from, one thing in common is the prevalent use of spices and herbs which create a distinctive flavor in their menu items.

Moon Thai's Menu: Probably the largest menu I have ever come across in my life ordering is not going to be easy. From the Thai menu I recommend starting off with some delicious spring rolls ($5.50) or fresh lettuce wraps ($7.95) followed by the Panang Salmon ($16.95) or Kong Op Woon Sen ($12.95). From the Japanese Menu someone needs to order the Miami Hurricane Roll ($9.95) and their one of their Sashimi combinations which is particularly good ($16.95-$24.95).

Bangkok Bangkok- Coral Gables- Although Bangkok Bangkok has had mixed reviews from friends; I still consider it to be a great Miami Thai restaurant that has been serving the Coral Gables area for many years. This inexpensive Thai restaurant serves large portions that you'll definitely need a doggy bag. Their seafood dishes range from $12.95-$15.95 and other entrees staying below $19.95.

Bangkok Bangkok's menu: I only get one thing when I have eaten at Bangkok Bangkok and it is the imperial crispy duck ($15.95). It is deep fried roasted duck served with a tangy sauce. It is very hard to find a great "crispy duck" and it is probably the reason I keep going back to Bangkok Bangkok.
